EARTH DAY 2019

This post is little late but I was busy participating in Earth Day 2019 cleaning.

DISCLOSURE: NONE OF THE IMAGES IN THIS GALLERY WERE RETOUCHED. I POSTED THEM STRAIGHT FROM CAMERA. Mother Nature IS PERFECT THE WAY SHE IS AND DO NOT NEED ANY KIND OF RETOUCHING!!!

Earth Day is a time to reflect and be thankful for everything the Earth does for us. It is also a time to strengthen our relationship with nature, give back, and to think of ways we can work to better support the Earth for future generations.

As a photographer I spent half of my time outdoors : Spring Sessions, Summer Sessions, Fall Sessions or Winter Sessions. I depend on our Mother Earth - she is big part of my business and my life. But also if you already met me and got to know me, you probably know that I am outdoor type of gal as well. On my free time, I basically live outdoors: I am mountain biker and spent my free time on bike in the woods and during the winter season I am skiing almost every weekend. I also love photography walks - I never get tired of my camera :)

So as you see yourself Mother Nature is huge part of my life: work life and private as well. Whenever I go I make sure that neither me or my clients leave no trace! When I visit local park or beach for session or privately , I make sure I leave it the same or better than I found it. You probably heard me complaints gazillion times during the session when I saw garbage laying around … you heard me saying why people do not respect nature but want leave and vacation in beautiful outdoors…. You saw me picking up garbage which I randomly found on trails while we are walking during the session….my clients and friends know how important this matter is to me…

This year, Earth Day 2019 is dedicated to ending plastic pollution. “From poisoning and injuring marine life to disrupting human hormones, from littering our beaches and landscapes to clogging our waste streams and landfills, the exponential growth of plastics is now threatening the survival of our planet.” In response, Earth Day 2019 is committed to providing the information and inspiration needed to fundamentally change human attitudes and behaviors surrounding plastics.

At the root of every Earth Day is the long-term goal of global sustainability. Every day, we make decisions about what natural minerals to use, how fast to use them, and what to do with them when we’re done. All of these decisions have a unique impact on the environment. The choices we make today, big or small, will impact the future. Therefore, our choices must ensure that social institutions, the economy, and the environment will be well-supported for future generations.

More than 1 billion people now participate in Earth Day activities each year, making it the largest civic observance in the world. While it would be nice if we all lived as if everyday was Earth Day, this holiday serves as a friendly reminder each year, to respect the Earth and to show a little gratitude to Mother Nature.

Keep our planet clean! We have only one life with expiration date that’s true… but lets keep our planet beautiful and clean for next generations …. Let’s not be selfish …. Let’s do it for our children, grandchildren and for their children and grandchildren ….

Let's make a difference !!! LETS KEEP THE CONVERSATION GOING !LEST RECYCLE!
